Our Story
Going Fishing is also unashamedly personal.
I'm a transgender woman and I share much of this fishing adventure with my wife, Courtney. We're a same-sex couple who happen to spend an unreasonable amount of time talking about fishing, preparing tackle and wondering whether we really need another bag of pellets.
We want Going Fishing to be welcoming to everybody. You don't have to belong to a particular group, fish at a particular level or own expensive tackle to belong on the bank.
Whether you're LGBTQ+, completely new to fishing, an experienced pleasure angler or somebody chasing the next match win, you're equally welcome here.
